New board members bring lived experience and depth of understanding of not-for-profit sector to the organisation.
The Board of 360 Health + Community is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Non-Executive Directors – Carli Sheers and Pina Caffarelli.
“Carli and Pina each bring a great depth of experience and understanding of the mental health, not-for-profit and healthcare sectors to our Board,” says Fiona Payne, Chair of the Board.
“With her lived experience in mental health, Carli will provide a wealth of knowledge to assist 360 Health in improving mental health outcomes for our clients and participants, while Pina’s financial background and experience serving on many different boards, will assist the organisation greatly in areas of finance and governance.”

Carli Sheers
Carli feels privileged to be a living example of recovery, reaching self-agency, full citizenship and socioeconomic participation in the Australian community. She has worked extensively in the mental health sector since 2007 and founded her own lived experience mental health education and training consultancy business in 2019, working with over 20 clients. She is insightful and passionate about mental health reform and is involved in governance, independent consultancy, education and training, facilitation, event management, conference/public speaking, workshop programs, and mental health research.
In 2022, Carli was appointed by Richmond Wellbeing as their Lived Experience Engagement Lead, and The University of Western Australia, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, as Teacher in 2021. She was appointed by the WA Mental Health Commissioner as National Mental Health Consumer and Carer Forum (NMHCCF) WA Consumer Representative in 2020. In the same year she was elected as a WA Association for Mental Health (WAAMH) Lived Experience Board Director and holds the role of WAAMH Board Lived Experience Participation Sub-Committee Chairperson.
Carli contributes as a Consumer Representative of the 360 Health and Community Board Clinical Governance Committee and is skilled in providing her expertise to assist in continually improving the quality of services and safeguarding high standards of care. Her memberships also include the International Initiative for Mental Health Leadership; Global Mental Health Peer Network; International Association of Peer Supporters; Consumers of Mental Health WA (CoMHWA), CoMHWA Peer Workforce Community of Practice; and Western Australian Peer Supporters Network.
Carli holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Edith Cowan University (1995 Dean’s List for academic excellence), and technical qualifications in mental health, community services, training and assessment, and micro-business operations. She is accredited in Mental Health First Aid; certified in World Health Organization Quality Rights; contributing as a Member of the Mental Health Act (2014) Statutory Review Committee; and is currently completing a technical qualification in mental health peer work.
Pina Caffarelli
Pina is a chartered accountant whose professional accounting and tax career spans over 30 years. She is an experienced director and principal of Caffarelli & Associates, a boutique accounting practice providing specialist advice to clients including small business and the not-for-profit sector.
Pina has served on several boards and committees in the area of arts, sport and health including the Cancer Council of WA for 12 years and continues to serve on its Finance, Audit and Risk committee which she previously chaired. She currently serves on the board of Women’s Health and Family Services and is a director of the Perth Blood Institute.
Pina holds a Master of Business (Accounting/Law), is a Chartered Tax Advisor (Taxation Institute), a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).
